» Back to top Q. How do I use my gift voucher? Your gift voucher is valid for up to 12 months from the date of purchase. Once you have obtained the voucher, you will receive a voucher code which can then be entered by the recipient on the website and used towards a weekendhotelbreaks.com hotel break. » Back to top Q. Can the voucher be used at any time? The voucher is valid for 12 months and subject to the conditions of the individual offer it is exchanged for. All hotel breaks featured on the website are subject to availability and confirmation from weekendhotelbreaks.com. Hotels may choose to withdraw the promoted offer at any time. When the voucher recipient chooses to redeem the voucher, the booking enquiry will be sent to weekendhotelbreaks.com and the hotel will be contacted to confirm availability. If the recipient's chosen dates are unavailable, then we will ask for an alternative date to be selected. It may not be possible to confirm certain dates with the hotel. In this case, we will advise of alternative dates when the offer may be applicable. » Back to top Q. Can the voucher be exchanged or transferred? Vouchers cannot be exchanged or refunded, and are valid until the expiry date. If the offer chosen is subsequently withdrawn by the hotel or the hotel is no longer featured on the website when the recipient comes to redeem the voucher, then the amount can be transferred towards another current hotel package from the weekendhotelbreaks.com website. Expired vouchers cannot be transferred or refunded. Gift tokens can also be used on other OPL Leisure Group websites, including offpeakluxury.com. Gift break vouchers can only be redeemed through the website they were purchased from. » Back to top Q. What will I receive? You will get an email with instructions to log-in and access your voucher which can then be presented to the recipient. You can also enter a message to personalise the voucher. If you choose to, you can also enter the recipient's email address if you would like the gift to be sent directly to them at the time you purchase the voucher. » Back to top Q. Do I contact the hotel directly with any queries? Until your dates have been confirmed, all enquiries must be made through weekendhotelbreaks and all vouchers can only be redeemed through this website. (Gift tokens can also be redeemed through other OPL Leisure Group websites, including offpeakluxury.com) Gift Vouchers CANNOT be presented directly to the hotel as payment. Only reservations which have been confirmed by weekendhotelbreaks.com will receive a Hotel Voucher that can then be presented at check-in. Unredeemed vouchers have NO direct value with the hotel. Once your reservation has been confirmed, you will then be given the contact number and address of the hotel which can then be used for making further requests or enquiries about hotel facilities. (Any queries regarding amendments to your reservation, i.e change of dates or to the length of your stay need to be made via weekendhotelbreaks.com.) » Back to top Q. What if the price of the hotel break is different from the gift token amount given? Gift tokens can be used in part payment towards any hotel break on the website. The difference can then be paid by credit or debit card when the token is redeemed. There are no refunds for unused gift voucher token amounts, so you may wish to split the amount given by choosing a number of tokens for smaller amounts. These can then be redeemed together for one or more hotel breaks. » Back to top Q. What is the ideal amount to give? This depends on what the hotel break is intended for. We have some offers that are valid for just one night, and generally range between £150-£250. These are ideal for short Celebrations, for example if the gift is intended for a birthday, or an anniversary. Others are for longer stays between 2-7 nights. Most short breaks on the website are for 2 nights and cost between £250-£400. These are our most popular short break packages, but there are also many other hotel breaks to be found both below and above these average prices. » Back to top Q.
